List ElementsKit custom widgets is a WordPress ability from ElementsKit Elementor Addons — usable via Easy MCP AI, which connects Claude, ChatGPT, and any AI assistant to your site.
Install Free Plugin →List ElementsKit custom widgets
Read-onlyList the custom Elementor widgets built with the ElementsKit Widget Builder.
Requires the ElementsKit Elementor Addons plugin (elementskit-lite) with Elementor active, on WordPress 6.9+ for the Abilities API (abilities are registered only when wp_register_ability() exists). Read-only listing abilities require 'edit_posts' (list-widgets, list-templates, list-library-templates), 'manage_options' (list-custom-widgets), or 'edit_theme_options' (list-mega-menus); write abilities that target a specific Elementor document (insert-widget, insert-template, import-library-template) require 'edit_posts' plus 'edit_post' on that document; template, header/footer, custom-widget, and mega-menu creation/configuration abilities require 'manage_options' (create-mega-menu additionally requires 'edit_theme_options'); create-page requires 'edit_pages' or 'edit_posts'.
What it does
This ability returns the widgets an administrator has built with ElementsKit's own Widget Builder (the elementskit_widget custom post type), giving an AI assistant visibility into which bespoke widgets already exist on the site before deciding whether to build a new one with create-custom-widget or update an existing one by id. It takes no input.

Returns

Permission
Requires the 'manage_options' capability.
