List mega menus

Read-only

List WordPress nav menus along with their ElementsKit Mega Menu enable state and items.

Requires the ElementsKit Elementor Addons plugin (elementskit-lite) with Elementor active, on WordPress 6.9+ for the Abilities API (abilities are registered only when wp_register_ability() exists). Read-only listing abilities require 'edit_posts' (list-widgets, list-templates, list-library-templates), 'manage_options' (list-custom-widgets), or 'edit_theme_options' (list-mega-menus); write abilities that target a specific Elementor document (insert-widget, insert-template, import-library-template) require 'edit_posts' plus 'edit_post' on that document; template, header/footer, custom-widget, and mega-menu creation/configuration abilities require 'manage_options' (create-mega-menu additionally requires 'edit_theme_options'); create-page requires 'edit_pages' or 'edit_posts'.

What it does

This ability returns every registered WordPress navigation menu together with whether ElementsKit's Mega Menu feature is enabled for it and its menu items, giving an AI assistant the menu_id and menu-item ids it needs before calling enable-mega-menu or update-mega-menu-item. It takes no input.

See it in action

You ask your AI assistant

"Which of my nav menus currently have Mega Menu enabled, and what are their menu item ids?"

Returns

An object with success (boolean) and a menus array describing each nav menu, its Mega Menu enable state, and its items.

Permission

Requires the 'edit_theme_options' capability.
