Get top services is a WordPress ability from LatePoint — usable via Easy MCP AI, which connects Claude, ChatGPT, and any AI assistant to your site.
Install Free Plugin →Get top services
Read-onlySee which services get booked the most — and how much revenue they generate — over a given date range.
Requires the LatePoint plugin on WordPress 6.9+ (the WordPress Abilities API is only available from 6.9 onward). All abilities also require the site's 'latepoint_abilities_api' master toggle to be enabled; write abilities additionally require the 'latepoint_abilities_api_edit' setting, and destructive abilities additionally require the 'latepoint_abilities_api_delete' setting. Each ability further requires the current user to hold the matching LatePoint capability (e.g. 'booking__view', 'customer__edit'), and some abilities also verify the user is allowed to act on that specific record.
What it does
This ability queries bookings within a date range and groups them by service to determine which services are booked most often. For each top service it returns the service ID, service name, booking count, and total revenue (summed from the associated order item subtotals), ordered by booking count descending. You control how many services to return with an optional limit input, clamped between 1 and 50 and defaulting to 5. Cancelled bookings are excluded from the counts, so an AI assistant gets a clean picture of which offerings are actually driving business in the period.

You ask your AI assistant
"What were my top 10 best-selling services last month by number of bookings?"
Inputs
