Cookiebot Abilities
Cookiebot registers six abilities that let AI read your cookie-consent configuration and compliance status, and adjust key settings like the Domain Group ID and Google Consent Mode v2 directly.

Requires the Cookiebot plugin registered against the WP Abilities API (hooked on 'wp_abilities_api_init' and 'wp_abilities_api_categories_init'). All six abilities require the current user to have the 'manage_options' capability; the install-ppg ability additionally requires 'install_plugins'. Write abilities (set-cbid, toggle-gcm, install-ppg) log each change, with before/after state, to an internal audit log capped at 50 entries.

Install Privacy Policy Generator
Writecookiebot/install-ppg
Installs and activates the Privacy Policy Generator plugin (privacy-policy-usercentrics) from WordPress.org, or confirms it is already active.
Set Domain Group ID
Writecookiebot/set-cbid
Sets the Cookiebot Domain Group ID (CBID), a UUID for Cookiebot accounts or a Settings ID for Usercentrics accounts, and applies it immediately.
Toggle Google Consent Mode v2
Writecookiebot/toggle-gcm
Enables or disables Google Consent Mode v2 for the site.
Verify Cookiebot Setup
Read-onlycookiebot/verify-setup
Checks that the Domain Group ID is configured, Google Consent Mode v2 is enabled, and cookie blocking mode is set to automatic, returning a list of any issues found.
